These terms govern your use of Zip Blitz — the website at zip-blitz.com and the Zip Blitz mobile app. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Zip Blitz is a daily trivia game. Each day has five rounds of ten questions that get progressively harder, with fifteen seconds a question, alongside daily and all-time leaderboards, leagues, head-to-head multiplayer, friends and streaks. Today's first three rounds are free to everyone, forever.
You can play without signing up. When you do create an account — with Google, Apple, or a link sent to your email — you're responsible for keeping access to it secure, and for what happens under it. You must be 13 or older to hold an account.
Keep your display name civil. We may remove a name, a leaderboard entry, or an account that is abusive, impersonates someone, or is used to manipulate leaderboards — for example by running several accounts to inflate a result.
Zip Blitz Plus is an optional paid subscription. It unlocks:
We may add to what Plus includes. If we ever need to remove something significant from it, we'll tell subscribers before the change takes effect, and you can cancel if you'd rather not continue.
Plus is sold on two plans: £29.99 a year or £1.99 a week. Prices in other currencies are shown at checkout.
The annual plan begins with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged. The weekly plan has no trial — it starts and is billed immediately, and you can cancel at any time before the next weekly payment.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period — yearly on the annual plan, weekly on the weekly plan — at the price then in effect, until you cancel. We'll email you before we change the price of a subscription you already hold, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
When you buy on this website, your order is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle sells the subscription to you, handles payment and tax, and issues your receipt. Paddle's buyer terms apply to that transaction alongside these terms. We never see or store your card details.
If you buy inside the iOS app instead, Apple is the seller and your payment, renewal and cancellation are handled through your App Store account.
Cancel whenever you like. On the web, open Profile → Manage subscription, which takes you to Paddle's portal. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for — we don't cut access off partway through.
Our refund policy is set out in full on the Refunds page, and forms part of these terms. In short: ask within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it, no questions asked.
Please don't do things that break the game for other people. That means no automated play or scripting, no reverse-engineering the app to extract questions or answers, no attempts to interfere with our servers, and no scraping the leaderboards. We may suspend or close an account that does.
The questions, artwork, name and software are ours or our licensors'. You may share your own results, screenshots and score cards freely — that's what they're for. You may not republish the question set itself.
By using Zip Blitz you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, display and publish your name, profile picture, scores, results and other information about your play — in the game, and in marketing and promotion for Zip Blitz in any medium. You can ask us to stop using your name and picture in new marketing material at any time, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Material already published may stay in circulation.
We aim to keep Zip Blitz up and a new quiz arriving every day, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and if we ever shut the service down we'll give subscribers notice and refund the unused part of any period already paid for.
Zip Blitz is a game, provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
If you're a consumer, you have statutory rights under UK law — including rights about digital content that is faulty or not as described — and nothing in these terms affects them.
What we collect and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version, and we'll tell subscribers about material changes before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
